Cold War Kids Long Beach Concert reviews
James and Jackson don't disappoint
The concert was OUTSTANDING!! Jackson was on first. Played his best sellers and a couple I hadn't heard. Voice sounds as good as ever. Had 2 outstanding background singers. I have seen Cold War Kids a number of times and am a Jackson Brown fan, but have never seen him in concert. James seemed more relaxed than I've ever seen him. It was a treat to see them together. James came on for his last song. His band was full of pros and he had six or 7 background singers, many of them new including his youngest son Henry. One of the things that made the concert so enjoyable was the graphics they had on the main screen. He was thoroughly enjoying himself and did 3 encores!! They were outrageous and really added to the mood of every song. James continues to be my favorite live performer.
